Weiser Halifax Lever, Square Rose, Dummy Function, Iron Black

Weiser products (Canada) and Kwikset products (USA) are part of the same hardware family, known for their perfect blend of simplicity and elegance. They offer a wide selection of traditional, transitional, or contemporary styles to complement any home decor.

The Halifax Square Rose style features a Privacy Lever function, perfect for bedrooms or bathrooms. The interior lever has exposed screws, while the exterior lever has no visible screws. The color option is Iron Black (US514).

Door prep includes a Cross Bore of 2-1/8", Edge Bore of 1”, and Latch Face of 1"x2-1/4“. The backset is adjustable to 2-3/8" or 2-3/4", with a standard UL of 2-3/4” and optional 2-3/8”. The door thickness accommodates 1-3/8"–1-3/4“ standard doors.

The cylinder is a Standard SmartKey, with Kwikset or Weiser 5pin pin & tumbler options available. The faceplate is 1"x2-1/4" Square, with radius corner and drive-in standard. Strikes come in 2-1/4" full lip, round corner, and square corner styles.

The lever height is 2-5/8 inches, offering a universal and reversible handing to fit both right-handed and left-handed doors. The locking mechanism is operated by pressing the push button on the interior of the lock, with strengthened springs to ensure the lever stays level over time.

Installation is quick and easy, requiring only a screwdriver. The product is tested and certified ANSI/BHMA A156.2 Grade 2 Certified, ADA compliant, and meets UL 20 minute availability and ASTM E 331 water penetration testing standards.

The warranty includes a lifetime mechanical and finish warranty, providing peace of mind for homeowners. The Halifax Square Rose also comes in a Half (Single) Dummy Lever Function (Inactive) option, with exposed screws on the exterior lever and a Polished Chrome (US26) color choice.
