Kwikset Kevo Convert Smart Lock Kit

Transform your existing deadbolt into a smart lock with the Kevo Convert smart lock conversion kit. With the Kevo App, enjoy the convenience of keyless entry into your home. Installation, programming, and usage of Kevo Convert are all simple, and it runs on 4 AA batteries. Additionally, Kevo Convert now supports Alexa voice commands (Kevo Plus hub required, sold separately) for locking/unlocking with a PIN and checking lock status.

Compatible with standard deadbolts from Kwikset, Weiser, Baldwin Prestige, Baldwin Reserve, Baldwin Estate, and Schlage, Kevo Convert is a perfect fit if your deadbolt is mounted separately from the handle below it. For Android users, compatibility includes models like Pixel, Nexus, HTC, and Samsung Galaxy, while Apple iOS users can use devices like iPhones, iPads, and iPod Touch. Apple Watch compatibility is limited to notifications only.

To ensure the security and user experience of Kevo, Kwikset is continuously working on adding compatibility with new Android devices. Starting February 1, 2017, Kevo eKeys will be offered at no charge. Upgrade your existing Kwikset, Weiser, Baldwin, or Schlage deadbolt with Kevo Convert to enjoy Bluetooth range locking and unlocking using your smart device.

For remote access, pair Kevo Convert with the Kevo Plus Connected Hub (available for purchase separately for $99). Take advantage of Alexa voice commands with Kevo Convert when paired with the Kevo Plus Connected Hub. Note that Kevo Convert does not support Touch-to-Open and requires a Kevo 2 (99250-202) Smart Lock if desired.

Experience smart home compatibility with Alexa, Ring Doorbell, Skybell, Nest Learning Thermostat, select Honeywell Thermostats, Android Wear, and IFTTT. Download the Kevo app on your compatible iOS or Android smartphone to manage locking/unlocking, digital keys, and home access tracking.

Kevo Convert offers an optional auto-lock feature that will automatically lock your door 30 seconds after unlocking for added safety and peace of mind.
